Konrad Halls Centre Offer
Konrad Halls Centre Offer
Konrad Halls Centre is available to Year 11 Students within the EdAct Trust. The Centre is the base for our student’s. Our goal is to provide a therapeutic and nurturing environment
where student’s will work with a group of therapists to develop strategies in response to their social, emotional and mental health needs. Students will have access to a blend of learning programmes alongside their GCSE qualifications. These include work experience and access to college based vocational courses. There will be a select number of spaces available to local secondary schools, however any referrals accepted will be in agreement of the Executive Headteacher.
Once a referral has been received, the panel will review the information noted on the form and together discuss whether the provision is appropriate for the student and what support the team are able to offer.
The Panel will meet on the dates outlined below and consist of Konrad Halls Centre staff who are employed by the EdAct Trust; Ms N Younes Director of Inclusion, Dr J Upton Educational Psychologist and Head of Centre and Mrs R Shojaii Therapeutic Programme Manager.
We recognise that some pupils being referred may have SEND needs, if an EHCP application is deemed appropriate the application will be co-produced with the home school’s SENDCo.
